The P0327 code is for knock sensor 1. The Knock Sensor 1 (G61) is a tuned accelerometer on the engine which converts engine vibration to an electrical signal. The Engine Control Module (J623) uses this signal to determine the presence of engine knock and to retard spark timing.

Customer: 2002 jetta 1.8t with p0327 knock sensor 1 low input.I swapped it out for a new one as ohm reading indicated closed contact . Still getting a code after 10 miles or so. Still getting a code after 10 miles or so.
