Customer: A P0691 code indicating control circuit low was identified. After verifying power and ground at the control signal, the ground wire was removed, contacts were wire-brushed, and all fuses were checked. A new cooling fan assembly was purchased and installed.

I had diagnostic done at VW specialist and had gas/oil refilled. They were unable to rectify it, the fault code P0691 (fan control short to ground), 0029 refrigerant pressure low limit riched, unable to clear fault (suggested either faulty fan control unit or AC high pressure valve). The fan motor itself & all the control lights working fine.
