2025年2月28日 · The code was a P0740 (Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit/Open Circuit Malfunction). I never thought much of it because the van drove and shifted fine and the mpg were in range. About six months ago I decided to try to tackle the issue.

2010年12月21日 · P0740 code again... Hi Guys, Been following this thread since last summer when i first saw this code. I dropped the pan, replaced the filter and topped off the fluid. The code went away. The code came back within a month so I brought it to the shop for a flush and told them to flush it until it runs red- 24 quarts later, it runs red.

2014年8月28日 · Sorry to be bearer of bad news P0740 usually means slipping TCC clutch. The code simply means that within a few seconds of TCC going into full lock (after transitioning through PEMCC state), TCM did not see at least 10% RPM drop. I would recommend pulling the pan and seeing if you have coarse coffee grinds type of material in the pan.

2025年1月21日 · Never went into limp mode and the P0740 code is the ONLY code that it threw with no others. Did another road test today with code reset again and im cruising at 75mph sitting just at 2k on rpm. When the CEL is on, it makes the rpm about 400 higher...once cleared it goes back to more normal range if that makes sense.
