2011年1月10日 · I just swapped a working (was in another truck of mine) 4L80E into my 6.5 3500 and the transmission is now stuck in limp mode (reverse and 2nd). The only code I am getting is "P0758 - 2-3 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical". Should I just replace the solenoid or should I start checking electrical (not my forte).

2007年10月19日 · I get p0758 ( shift control solenoid B) and the p1860 (trans slip) code right after start up. Occasionally I get the shift control A code also. So far I have changed the ignition switch and put in both a and b solenoids and it is still kicking the codes and stuck in second gear.

2006年4月18日 · I'm having this same problem. The code that is coming up is P0758. I tested the resistance on the soleniods and all are within specs. I also tested the soleniods by applying power to the soleniods and all make an audible clicking noise. I also tested the resistance of the force motor and it was 4.5 ohms which is a little low.

2008年12月1日 · P0758 is the B solenoid circuit fault. I would make definite sure that the connections are clean. The E and the B pins at the passthrough connector. Bent, pushed in,contaminated or oily. A measurement is taken at the grounding side and sent to the computer. The proverbial P1860 PWM TCC circuit. I would be checking all grounding I could find.

2003年9月16日 · Turned on and off several times and then was able to shut off and remove key. On 9/4 got a couple new codes along with the same codes mentioned above. They were P0753 (Shift Solenoid A Circuit Electrical), P0758 (Shift Solenoid B Circuit Electrical), and P0758 (Shift Timing Solenoid Malfunction). Again vehicle seemed like it could not downshift.

Cause: The most likely cause of this condition may be a loss of voltage to the transmission on circuit 1020. This loss of power may be caused by an open in the ignition switch.

I was told it was the tranny but after some research i came to the conclusion it was the ignition switch (a common problem on the 97's and other models too).
