Upon subsequent checking at dealership, I am getting a new engine after they found metal fragments in the oil pan. Never got a picture, or told what they were from, so presume piston ring material.

I have a 13 Jetta wagon, just got this code the other day and already took it in as I only have 3 days left of the dieselgate warranty, so down to the wire. They said they did find low compression but their diesel tech won't be in again till Monday.

2003年12月1日 · So I'm getting p1004-1105-1006 Torque Difference Limit Exceeded-intermittent code on multiple cylinders. Dumped some diesel purge in, but has not made a difference in the few 100kms I've run it so far. Only does it when engine is cold int he morning while accelerating.

I brought this to my local mechanic to get checked/fixed (not a car guy myself so not doing any work other than basic stuff like - swapping winters/summers, oil change, brake job).

Customer: have a 2013 Passat tdi. I just got a p1006 code. I car acts like its misfiring when the engine is cold. after a couple miles it goes away or if you let it warm up for 5 minutes. is it a dirty injector or value needing to oil? Mechanic's Assistant: When was your last oil change?

The fault code that is coming up is to let you know that the power output for cylinder 3 is different than the others. The cause for this is the fuel injector for cylinder 3 to where it is not inputting the correct amount of fuel. To resolve this issue the injector will need to be replaced.
