2012年2月21日 · 2007 G6 Sedan (2.4L) with a P1174 (Fuel Trim Cylinder Balance) code. Came on about 3 months ago for the same problem, took it to the dealer and they replaced the fuel injectors and did a fuel system treatment. 3 months later, same code comes up. Replaced both O2 sensors and code went off (again at dealer). 800 miles later, code is back.

2021年7月22日 · So I’m getting the code p1174 and I have this reader that’s telling me it the ECM but it has other things it said it could be but that’s the most common for my car I guess! It’s the code for fuel trim cylinder balance bank 1. Ive heard that it could be my fuel injector wiring because my 2011 Chevy Malibu LT it’s the four cylinder in it.

2020年10月7日 · I bought my 2011 Chevy Malibu about a month ago. I’ve been driving it and nothing seemed bad to me. A couple days ago my check engine light came on so my boyfriend and I scanned it and the P1174 code came up as my only code. We looked it up and I asked around and we put Seafoam motor treatment in my gas to see if it would clean my injectors.

2015年3月25日 · P1174 dtc sets no other codes. changed plug, changed oxygen sensor 2, cleaned injectors, and smoked for intake leaks. I am down to replacing other 02 sensor, replacing injectors, reprograming ecm. I don't know which to do or if I am even close to being right.

p0010, p0011, p1174, p0420 I suspect a bad upstream o2 sensor may be the root of all these codes. I do sometimes notice a MINOR power loss and volume of the exhaust sounds muffled but loud from the engine bay. Has anyone ever encountered all of these codes at once? Looking for input before I just replace everything related. Thanks.

2017年1月3日 · P1174 - Fuel Trim Cylinder Balance Bank 1 The steeler says it may be the timing chain or bad guides. They want $700 just to tear it down to diagnose the problem. I am a DIY'r and have change multiple timing belts, tranny's etc. I know I can do the work, but not sure where to start and if the timing chain is where to start.

2013年2月11日 · CEL light came on after a fill up, about five miles down the road and went off after about three more start ups. No issues over the weekend on short trips, filled car up drove 143 miles stopped and filled up again and a few miles down the road the CEL came on....stopped at Autozone, on code recorded is the P1174.

2012年3月1日 · p1104 is MAF Ground Malfunction that with the p1174 (a/f imbalance) so it sounds like you have a problem with the MAF sensor, bad sensor can result in A/F issues. I would try checking your MAF sensor, make sure the plug and pins are all clean and straight and making contact. Maybe try cleaning the MAF sensor with some MAF sensor cleaner.

2025年1月30日 · Did some research on P1174. In GM vehicles, the most common solution is the upstream O2 sensor located near the exhaust manifold, not the MAF, and not the injectors. It certainly doesn't hurt to do cheap maintenance like cleaning your MAF and using a bottle of injector cleaner though. Also, buy a genuine ACDelco O2 sensor.
