2010年10月11日 · Modular V10 (6.8l) - HELP! P1504 - I was driving my F-450 today and after driving for 240 miles I pulled into a parking lot and the engine just died. I started it right up and teh service engine light came on and it will no longer idle. It runs just fine except it wont idle. I checked the codes and it read the p1504....

The code, P1504, is related to the idle air control (IAC) circuit. The problem could be electrical, an issue with the IAC itself, or a computer-related issue. If you look at the attached pic, it indicates possible causes for the problem. What I would suggest is following through with the diagnostic flow charts related to pinpoint testing.

1997 - 2003 F150 - Code P1504 2002 F150 - I have a code P1504 that came up on my truck and I replace the idle control sensor but after replacing it, the code still comes up. I also checked the IAC to see the circuit is bad or shorted out but it is fine. What else could be possible wrong that the code is still coming...

The scanner showed p1504 when testing, reading man. Cont. Spd. Idle speed control auxilary inputs. Replaced the isc but still reads the same. How does a person check the inputs? Need help figuring this out. Hope you can help. Bill

2021年11月11日 · The code P1504 is for the Idle Air Control Valve and could be directly related to your issue. I have seen where these valves can get gummed up and stuck. Try cleaning it out some carburetor cleaner, the follow the pinpoint tests that I have attached. I also attached a picture of the valve.
