2020年5月7日 · I don’t have any check engine light on. But I have run the BlueDriver scan tool and got the code P1605, which translates as Knock Control CPU. When I check what this code could refer to, I receive a whole lot of possibilities and the possible diagnoses seem very different from each other. I have tried clearing the code and it reappears.

2006年10月20日 · Just got a P1605 code today and having some problems with the transmission on my 2001 Pathfinder. I think it's in failsafe mode because it won't shift out of 2nd or 3rd gear. It struggles to start out like it slipping but I think it's in 2nd or 3rd gear all the time. O/D light doesn't come on either when the button is pressed.

2020年10月5日 · However, yesterday I decided to hook up OBD Fusion and see that I have two current codes P1605; and P1604. Seems these codes could be anything from faulty ECM to TCM to wiring to fuel pump or even fuel quality. What it hasn’t done that I’m aware of is stall/die on me or fail to start which these codes also can indicate.

2016年11月6日 · Using OBD Fusion, I randomly checked all DTCs across all components this morning and was surprised to see, especially the P1605-00 code. I do tend to experience more misfires than many trucks, especially when cold but most are undetectable and rarely exceeds 10 (normally 3-5) which means no CELs have ever been triggered.

2017年10月16日 · Thats where I am. I have also read that the P1605 code means the ECU is actually the problem. any thoughts or ideas would be awesome. I'm kind stuck on what to do. Im about 900 miles from home so dropping it off at a shop isn't really going to happen. at best I will fly home and come back to get it with a trailer.

2025年1月23日 · I've been trying to locate my issue. This P1605 code says knock control CPU malfunction. When this happen the motor falls on its face and retards to timing to O degrees. Only happens at WOT, if driving in granny mode, all is ok. Flow chart says to check the knock sensors wiring from ECU to knock sensors. If the wiring is ok then replace the ECU.
