2001年8月8日 · I scanned it with my Vag-Com and it showed Code 18080 (P1672) Coolant Fan Control 1--open or short to ground. I then pulled the connector that goes to the right side fan and found that both red wires had power to them and that the brown wire (the ground) was grounded.

2015年3月18日 · The AC quit working the other day in hot Georgia. I immediately noticed no difference in idle while turning AC on and off. Vagcom found fault code for P1672 (coolant fan control 1). In Vagcom engine output tests, no radiator fans when when running (cooling circuit fan test). No voltage to AC compressor clutch while running (A/C compressor test).

2000年5月16日 · New to VW's and TDI's. I have a 2000 VW New Beetle TDI. Wanted to say this is a great forum and the info in this thread solved my problem, which was blown fuse 34. Never thought to look for a fuse. Orig. The connector to the MAF sensor basically fell apart and I guess the terminals shorted causing the fuse to blow.

P1672 - Fan 1 Control Circuit P1184 - Linear Lambda Probe P1116 - O2 Sensor Bank1/Sensor1 P0235 - Turbo/Supercharger Boost Sensor A Circuit P0102 -Mass or Volume Ait Flow Circuit - Low Imput My feeling is P0102 was set because i pulled the harness. P1672 unrelated from a dieing fan. It seems to me is a bad O2 sensor, but the P0235 is worrysome.
