2014年8月18日 · Once I got to work I ran my trouble code computer and found that it was giving the code P1698. According to Chrysler it means that the ECM is not getting messages from the TCM. Possible causes of the TCM is faulty ECM, ECM harness is open or shorted, poor electrical connection with ECM or low battery voltage.

Key on or engine running, and the PCM detected a failure to communicate with the TCM over the CCD data bus circuit.

2007年11月26日 · The P1698 code also comes up, after a few driving cycles, when those solder joints for the cluster plug pins go bad. There have been some newer threads on this as well. The FSM, including the Body Diagnostic Procedures book, is silent on this issue.
