2021年10月9日 · Got the machine home a week or so ago. Put 100 miles on it yesterday, just mild dirt road riding. We went out today for something a little more fun, river running. Ran great no problems for the first few miles. We stopped for a snack break. Start back up with engine light on, check codes P1836, AWD circuit fault. Lovely.

The P1836 diagnostic trouble code indicates that the kick-down switch in the vehicle has failed open. The kick-down switch is a component in the transmission system that is responsible for downshifting the transmission to a lower gear when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed.

2014年10月3日 · That code refers to the front sensor or it's circuit. It's mounted on the outside front of the transfer case, held in by one bolt. As to the price...there's a lot of online parts …

2021年2月15日 · I recently purchased a 2018 rzr turbo dynamix and had to replace the front differential after The install, I noticed the check engine light was on and says ”P1836 Front Drive circuit issue”. I am 90% sure the AWD worked prior to the swap but I had just purchased this vehicle and the diff started making a noise 30 minutes into the first ride.
