2013年3月22日 · The "R" denotes rail. Sometimes people omit the "R" in the description even though it has a rail. Only way to be 100% is to see an actual picture of it or to get the actual item number that Sig lists on the box.

2017年2月1日 · I believe you have all of the parts covered if you really do want to convert it. I picked up a like brand new P229 DAK in .40 thinking I'd do the same as I have been issued a P220 in standard SA/DA for going on 15 years now.

P226r vs 226 mk25 holster options - AR15.COM
2014年4月24日 · None of the above holsters said anywhere on the packaging that they were made to fit the MK25. All said P226 and/or P226R. But I, sure if I measured them with the proper tools, there would be some differences. I will find a conversion barrel and drop in the 40 slide.

Got a new P226, which model is this? > SIG Sauer - AR15.COM
2024年9月19日 · The P226R (with accessory rail) came out around 2004-2005 so it could just be one an agency ordered without a rail. I believe SIG-USA continued offering the “normal” non-railed one to the public for a while. I forgot which year, but they dropped the R suffix, and made the railed model the “normal” one some time afterwards.

2021年9月7日 · The second Navy production run still had the phosphated parts, but 3-dot contrast sights, and were all railed pistols (the P226R) with SIG's proprietary rail. No "NSW" prefix. This was probably the last time they had the phosphate until the MK25 in 2012. Here are serials from a later P226 Navy production run (without phosphated small parts):
