2020年6月3日 · The P245 was a compact model with the stamped carbon steel slide and has long been discontinued. The more modern equivalent with the solid milled stainless slide is the P220 Compact (6+1 rounds). It too has been discontinue a while but will be easier to find parts.

2015年6月5日 · The P245 is a great SIG, congrats! It is my only safe queen, a new in box unfired Ilfalon model. I do have one as a shooter as well, it's awesome. Yes, the slide detail strip might be considered a bit more involved than that of a stainless slide. But the frame detail strip is virtually identical to your P226.

2011年1月14日 · 3.) No, the grip sizes are different. I believe Hogue makes some wooden P245 grips and I saw some on eBay (also wood) made by a company outside of the US. None of them were cheap though. Note, the 220 compact is the same size as the 245. However, I do not believe anyone makes grips for it. ---

2014年11月30日 · Like headrott, I own a couple of P245's and have owned a couple of P220 Compacts. The P220 Compact still in my possession is a DAK, if the P245 were available in a DAK, that would be my preference. The P245 just feels better balanced in my hand.

2016年4月20日 · How these don't sell for more just goes to show how finicky and wishy-washy the gun market (and especially Sigs) can be. For its size, it is a proverbial tack-driver. I seem to like the point of 1911s, but I shoot my P245 better fairly consistently for some reason (not that my 1911s are custom or intended for target shooting). Again, congrats!

2023年3月19日 · The P245 also uses a different locking insert and it uses a flat-wire recoil spring--whereas all P220 variants (originally, anyway) use the multi-filament recoil spring. 2013年9月19日 · The P245 has a carbon steel slide, was originally made in Germany, but later ones were assembled in the US (there was a batch made in Germany in 2008 that was imported by PW Arms and sold by Dan's Ammo after the P245 had been discontinued in the US), and never had a beavertail.
