2015年4月6日 · I switched to the CCM P29 curve coming from a Warrior W88 curve (clone of Bauer P88). I'm finding it a bit tough to adjust to stickhandling with this new curve (shooting is fantastic though). Does anyone have tips? I feel like the P29 has a huge rocker compared to the W88/P88. I end up trying to stickhandle on the heel of the curve.

I know a lot of people have said that the p29 is not like the p92 from Bauer (not as open more mid) is the p90 identical to the p92 or the p29 I’m getting confused

2018年1月22日 · First the Curve. It is a bit smaller of a blade than my previous P29 curve. So far it hasn't been an issue but it was one of the first things I noticed. One benefit of this has been stick handling has felt quicker, obviously it could all be in my head. Shooting has felt very similarly to the P29 on the fore hand.

2021年12月15日 · I can shoot equally well with just about any curve, and certainly all the popular retail options. The difference is in how much I have to concentrate on different types of shots with each curve. For example, a P28 or P29 requires less wrist rotation to hit the top corner in comparison to a P88.

2021年10月7日 · As you can see in comparison to the pro stock W88 curve I've been using (white tape), the P90T (no tape) has a fairly similar length of flat spot to it, although it's a bit closer to the heel and has quite a bit more lift towards the toe.

2019年2月16日 · On hockeystickman.com the P90TM is described as the Max Height version of the P90T pro-Benn aka P30 curve. Which makes perfect sense. The P90T Benn is like a P88 in lie and closed nature from the heel to the mid curve. Then it adds an open toe kink, which is where it can somewhat be compared to a P29/P92/P28, which have more toe than the P88 does.

2019年12月29日 · I'd say the closest curve you will find at retail, with a higher lie is the CCM P29. It's still more open than a x88, but slightly more closed than the W03 or P92. 1

2018年8月13日 · The slightly fatter toe is also easier to scoop the puck. That being said, I still like the P28 more. It's very possible that since I use the True A6.0 HT it was the stick itself that made the curve feel wrong, but until I can try that same curve on a True A6.0 HT stick I dont think my thoughts about it will change.
