Students are alternately assessed and placed in 6:1:1, 8:1:1, 12:1:1, and inclusion classes.

373K, The Brooklyn Transition Center ,serves more than 380 students ages 13 to 21 with autism, learning disabilities, and mild to moderate developmental disabilities. There are two full-time high school inclusion sites, one at Cobble Hill School of American Studies and the other the Bedford-Stuyvesant Preparatory High School.

Authority rests on the goodwill of the superintendent. The Brooklyn Transition Center is located in Bed- Stuy Brooklyn and part of the New York City Department of Education. The BTC serves students ages 13 – 21 with profound developmental disabilities, including Autism, Down Syndrome, Emotional disturbance, and Intellectual Disabilities.
