The SIG P210 (Swiss Army designation Pistole 49, the civilian model was known as SP47/8 prior to 1957) is a locked breech self loading, semi-automatic pistol designed and manufactured in Neuhausen am Rheinfall (Canton of Schaffhausen, Switzerland) by SIG from 1948 to 2006.

The P49 (Pistole 49), Switzerland’s standard issue military sidearm from 1949 to 1975, is one of those vintage guns with a reputation that seems too good to be true. I’ve always wanted to test one, but their rarity and high price tag was an obvious obstacle.

2013年10月15日 · The Swiss Army P49 is the military counterpart to the Sig Sauer P210. The P49’s bottom magazine release and lanyard ring, the latter of which fits through the handgun’s wood grips. Note the P49’s safety, which normally has to be worked in for ease of operation. Also visible is the side release.

Sig Arms P49 Swiss Army pistol in excellent condition. This Sig features a Swiss Coat of Arms to top of barrel, Grooved walnut grip panels, Lanyard ring. This pistol also has a "P" on the left side of the trigger guard, indicating it was left as a gift to the owner upon leaving the Armed Services.
