This surplus Polish P-64 pistol is chambered in 9x18 Makarov and is NRA Excellent Condition. This pistol was designed at the Polish national arms factory at Radom during the Cold War and is similar in design and looks to the Walther PPK.

The origins of the P-64 began in 1958, when the Polish military was looking for a state-of-the-art replacement for the Soviet 7.62mm TT semi-automatic rifle for its various services. Within a few years, an official competition was designed and launched, and two pistol shapes, the "Model M", were introduced.

The P64 is a compact, blowback-operated pistol with a double-action/single-action (DA/SA) trigger mechanism. It has a decocking safety lever that allows the pistol to be carried safely with a round in the chamber and the hammer down. The grip design of the P64 is relatively slim and may feel small in the hands of users with larger hands.
