2020年4月29日 · The p64 MW Flow Modulation device, a next-generation stent-like device developed by phenox, is implanted across the neck of a cerebral aneurysm, and is intended to divert blood flow away from the aneurysm. Over the course of several months, the diseased vessel is then reconstructed, permanently occluding the aneurysm from blood flow.

Surface-coated FDs aim to reduce thrombogenicity, potentially allowing patients to be on single antiplatelet (SAPT) posttreatment. [1, 2] The p64 movable wire hydrophilic polymer-coated flow diverter (p64 MW HPC FD) (Phenox, Bochum, Germany) is a hydrophilic polymer-coated stent that inhibits platelet plug. [3] .

The in-stent stenosis rate in Diversion-p64 is also comparable to rates reported for other devices. Ravindran et al 21 recently described an in-stent stenosis rate of 7.4% in a cohort of 155 patients and 8.8% in their systematic review.

Treatment with p64 is associated with an overall rate of 8.5% moderate ISS (50-75%) and 2.7% severe ISS (>75%), which is comparable with the rate of ISS reported in the literature for other flow diverting stents. There is a tendency for ISS to spontaneously improve over time.

We retrospectively reviewed 108 patients with 109 aneurysms treated with the p64 between March 2014 and July 2019. There were 87 women and 21 men, mean age 57 years.
