P88 VS P92 for a beginner? What are the pros and cons?
The P92 makes it easy to lift the puck because it has a more open face. This sounds like a good thing, but can actually be detrimental to beginners because it encourages bad habits like flicking the wrist to shoot rather than building proper technique. The P88 is a good neutral curve that is ideal for beginners.

2022年3月8日 · From what I know, the P88/P40/P80's are classified as a mid curve with an almost closed or ever so slightly open face. Using the P88 style curves, from the blue line, on slappers, i can get the puck just about cross bar height or less, as well as just about the right amount of lift on my wrist shots from far out.

2022年6月14日 · Sherwood is the last to make a heel curve (P05) for retail, and some of the Rekker M90 sticks (low-kick, <400g) in the P05 curve are still out there. From a choice of P28, P90TM can anyone tell which is the closer to the 88 of the two or which would be easier to transition to? For context i take snap and wrist shots primarily as a forward on the wing.

2019年4月9日 · The curve I used when I stopped was a Montreal "European" curve which was similar to a P88, slightly more open, and a square toe.
