Sure, its heavier than new models, but the thing is a tank, its fifteen round capacity is more than sufficient, its easy to shoot and accurate, and it still looks great given the age of the design.

2012年7月5日 · The P89 was a good enough gun, and well built and durble. But that seems to be the case with nearly everything Ruger does. I've had the P95, which I liked, but which couldn't be tuned much (trigger, etc.), and much prefer the newer SR9 (or SR9c).

2010年3月31日 · My very late production (August 2007) P89 is a superb tool-exceptionally accurate and with an excellent DA/SA triggerpull and reset. It's singlehandedly precluded me to date to succomb to the siren lure of the much more expensive HK P30L.
