Introduced in 2004, the "AS" model Walther P99 features an 'Anti Stress' mode in the trigger. What this means is that even though the gun is a SA/DA gun, when the slide is pulled back and the gun cocked the trigger returns to the double action position for the first shot to try and prevent accidental firing.
