2015年6月26日 · QPQ is a form of nitrocarburizing finish not unlike standard Melonite or Tenifer, which are just brand names for the process. The first "quench" is the case-hardening nitrocarbonizing step. That's followed up with the polish. The second "quench" is an oxidizing/coloring step that results in the silver finish you see on the QPQ model. Very durable.

The P 99 is the latest double action design from Walther. It features a polymer frame, high capacity magazine, loaded chamber indicator, decocking button, ambidextrous magazine release, changeable backstrap, frame accessory rail, and a new "Anti-stress trigger mechanism". The Walther P99 is a short recoil -operated locked breech semi-automatic pistol that uses a modified Browning cam-lock system adapted from the Hi-Power pistol. The P99 has a glassfiber-reinforced polymer frame and steel slide assembly. It can be broken down into its main parts or field stripped with a take down catch without the help of tools.

2009年4月2日 · I was fortunate enough to pick up a nib Walther P99 with the QPQ finish in 9mm with AS trigger for $565 about two months. It has new Trijicon night sights and is an awesome shooter. I have several others as well, a Walther P99c in 9mm, a S&W99c in 9mm, and two other S&W 99s, one a 9mm and the other in 45acp.

Released in 2000, the Walther P99QA features the "Quick Action" trigger which is of the same style as that found on Glock pistols. Once loaded the striker is at the half cock position, and pulling the trigger fully cocks the striker and releases it for all shots.
