NJ PBS (known as NJTV prior to 2021) is a public television network serving the U.S. state of New Jersey. The network is owned by the New Jersey Public Broadcasting Authority (NJPBA), an agency of the New Jersey state government which owns the licenses for all but one of the PBS member stations licensed in the state.

New Jersey Public Television (NJPTV) started broadcasting on April 5, 1971 on WNJT (channel 52) in Trenton, and would be joined by WNJS (channel 23) in Camden & Atlantic City on October 23, 1972, WNJM (WNJN since 1994) (channel 50) in Montclair & Newark and WNJB (channel 58) in New Brunswick & the Amboys on June 2, 1973.

NJTV News is NJTV's nightly news program. The program covers news across New Jersey with a concentration on government and public policy and airs each weeknight at 6, 7:30, 11 p.m. and at 6:30 a.m.

NJN was a member of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) for television and the National Public Radio (NPR) for radio, broadcasting their programming as well as producing and broadcasting their own programming, mostly relating to issues in New Jersey.
