2022年9月6日 · i want to isolate a 115200bps UART between 2 arduino nanos. The only optocouplers i have are PC817C. I dont know what to look for in the datasheet to see if they are compatible. Would the pc817c work for my application?

2023年7月2日 · I'd like to connect them together through a Serial connection (UART TTL) at baud rate 460800. Both devices have 3.3V UART GPIO but also a 5V output that can be used. Output current is 5mA. I've finally achieve to create those two schematics but I'm not certain they are correct. Case 1 can transfer data up to 50 MB/s and case 2 up to 1 MB/s.

The PC817 Optocoupler is small in size and comes in multiple packages. It can be directly connected to any low voltage dc device or microcontroller. The input voltages will have the same effect from every side on the optocoupler, it will just transfer the signal to the receiver and then the receiver will give the logic signal as output.

2019年2月28日 · I intend to use Serial as communication at 9600 bps (slow but fast enough and easy to implement), and am trying to get this to work across optocouplers. Not much luck so far using this circuit: I'm using PC817 optocouplers, rise/fall times said to be 3-4 µs, and the data sheet shows that 10 kHz should be no problem.
