2023年4月23日 · This is insufferable We are encountering the same issue where I work, and I have a GPO linked to a defaultassociation.xml file to govern application defaults and Edge still does this after every major update. I have to redefine the default app association for PDF docs, re-export a default app XML file to retain the settings.

2022年7月27日 · To avoid having the PDF open in Edge, you must check "Always download PDF files". The PDF has to be transmitted (downloaded) to your PC one way or another. If you let Edge open the PDF, it still downloads the PDF but (depending on your settings) stores it in OneDrive/Pictures instead of the Downloads folder.
