2009年11月10日 · I bought the "PB to PEX fitting" (wirsbro brand) but it doesn't come with the crimp ring for the PB side. Oh well, a trip to HD. I found the "PB to PEX fittings" at HD today. Not the same brand PEX I 'm using. Also HD's has a black crimp ring and a copper crimp ring but it doesn't say which ring is for the PB and which it for the PEX.

PEX: Is it worth replacing crimps with push connections?
Not sure if it would be sold separately at at box store but any plumber who uses pex should have multiples. Every tool I've ever purchased has comes with one. I have straights and offsets 1/2 to 1" and some close quarters crimpers that you compress the ring using channel locks on an anvil. I think 9 in total. Ever one comes with it. –

The tools are also more expensive. The powered ones even more. The manual expander tools work fine, but require more strength to operate.

2019年1月28日 · Yes, in my experience if Pex is ever going to leak it leaks right away; it doesn't surprise you later. (The only exception is when I put a standard compression fitting with a brass ferrule on a Pex line, which led to a leak a week later; however, I later learned that you can't use brass ferrules on Pex, so the issue was my fault.)
