Originally designed for the infamous RPG-7 rocket launcher, the PGO-7 is a 2.8x optic with PSO style illuminated reticule for low light shooting. Unlike most PSO's which have a red bulb, it seems that the PGO bulb is commonly amber or pale yellow. PGO-7 seen on an Iraqi AK.

The PGO-7 is a 2.7x (some sources say 2.8x)? scope originally maufactured in Russia for use on the RPG-7 laucher. Belarussia also produces the scope, and China has a modified version they produce. Since its initial design different versions of the PGO-7 have been produced.

Russian PGO-7V Optic, a.k.a. Russian PGO-7V Optic is a Grenade Launcher Scope that was designed specifically to assist a RPG-7 rocket launcher during combat to increase accuracy, and for targeting the enemy. It has a 2.7x magnification, 13deg angle of view, rangefinder, scale, rubber eyecup and illuminated reticle. The battery is not included.

Sighting device PGO-7V is designed for hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher RPG-7V for sighting at fixed and moving targets and allows shooting up to 500 meters. Reticle illuminator allowing shooting at dusk and night is part of the sighting device.

It offers 2.5x zoom, a milliradian grid for ranging with known objects, several marks for different distances such as the 50m cross at the top of the reticle, and a range finder for armoured vehicles at the bottom right. You will notice it is a 2.7m scale rather than the traditional 1.7m scale found on optics meant to be mounted to small arms.
