2007年10月23日 · I've been doing some research and the PHL 3451 seems like an excellent driver suitable as a lower midrange. Other than some vague information, PHL doesn't provide much data concerning these drivers beyond thiele small parameters. I'd like to use them between 150 and 600hz mated to the ATC super dome.

Will I have problematic midrange (800-1800hz) with PHL 3451? How it is compared with 1120's? Can Aurum Cantus G1 have better lower range (1.8Khz-6khz, than a PHL 1120 or a PHL 1040)?

2012年6月16日 · I found T/S specs for the PHL 3450 which are reported to be very smilar to the 3451. As you can see from the Winisd plot, the high Fs and low Qts generate a -3db of 240Hz in a sealed box. Some would consider this too high, but it is the natural result of a high efficiency 99db/watt speaker design.

2007年1月29日 · First, a 4-way, using the same bass bin, a PHL 3451 (100dB/W/m), 2 x ITT LPKM/130/50/120 dome midranges (8ohm version - 88dB/W/m), and an Aurum Cantus G3 ribbon (100dB/W/m). I was intending to use my Technics SE-A808 for the PHL and my Technics SE-C01 (+SH-C01 power supply) for the ribbon, but I don't have anything for the domes.

2011年9月29日 · As promised, here are a few pictures of the current system using a Fane Colossus 18XB, PHL 3451, and Beyma TPL-150H. Crossover points are 200 and 1511 Hz, active crosovers 24 dB/octave, and triamped. Best regards
