The PK (Russian: Пулемёт Калашникова, transliterated as Pulemyot Kalashnikova, or "Kalashnikov's machine gun"), [4] is a belt-fed general-purpose machine gun, chambered for the 7.62×54mmR rimmed cartridge. The modernized and most commonly known variant, known as the PKM, features several enhancements over the original PK design.

Jul 13, 2007 · Here's a couple pictures of a PK (top) and a PKMS (bottom). Actually, the the PK is a reworked Zastava/Tabuk M84. the PKMS is a heavily abused Russian. Aug 25, 2017 · RPK is very similar to AK- longer barrel, bipod, higher capacity magazine (interchangeable with AK) and heavier stock - that's all differences. PK(M) internally quite different. RPK (later RPK-74 and RPK-74M) is unified LMG (unified with AK/AK-74) and every motorifle squad had it.

Interchangeability of parts between the RPK and AKM are moderate. The weapon's rear sight leaf is elevation adjustable, and graduated for ranges of 100 to 1,000 meters in 100 m increments. The rear sight leaf also features a windage adjustment knob unique to the RPK series of rifles.

Jun 3, 2021 · Really accurate for a stock gun. Shoots hot at 450fps out of the box but has a quick change spring gearbox. Probably one of the support weapons on the market. The box mag and a&ks QA is its weakness. The box mags prone to stripping its gears however bullgear makes a drop in replacement that fixes that issue.
