2016年1月19日 · Several previous studies indicate that SIRT6 has tumor-suppressor functions, whereas PKM2 has been reported to promote cell proliferation and tumorigenesis. Based on our characterization of PKM2 as an SIRT6 deacetylase substrate, we examined the role of deacetylase activity in SIRT6 tumor-suppressor functions.
