747-8 - PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II - AVSIM
2017年3月17日 · My thinking is that the 747-8i product module is not yet uploaded by PMDG (the expansion commercial info is there, but its product module is not there yet). And, of course, in the case of the DC-6 now you have both, the information and the product module.

747-8 climb performance - PMDG Simulations
2020年1月16日 · since flying the 747-8 for more than a year now, I am sometimes wondering about the climb performance, which is relatively low, especially when using the max derated thrust calculated by the EFB: In this cases the Aircraft climbs relatively slowly after take off and for accelerating it‘s necessary to nearly level off ( climbing only with a ...
Boeing 747-8 Study Guide - PMDG Simulations
2022年4月14日 · The Boeing 747-400 and the Boeing 747-8 are two different types. The Boeing 747-8 is longer than the Boeing 747-400, has a larger wingspan, and has newer engines. Additionally, there are some slight differences in the flight deck.
SimBrief Fuel Factor 747-8 - PMDG Simulations
2021年4月4日 · just hoping onboard because I am currently flying FRA-IAD with the Boeing 747-8. Applied fuel planning figures correctly and having P04 configured as a BIAS, my arriving fuel figures are as follows: OFP.PNG Reserves upon arrival incl. Contingency Fuel (CONT) are ~ …
PMDG 747-8i/-4/F - PMDG Simulations
PMDG has said after the 777, the 747 is up next. BUT they always reserve the rights to throw that into madness or a different aircraft all together. There has been some hints that the 737 MAX will come out in between 777 releases. Now PMDG will never release a "paper airplane", so my guess is the MAX 8 and MAX 9 only.
747-8 Update? - PMDG Simulations
2024年3月25日 · With the flare assist they landed similarly, but again you could feel it was a heavier plane. The 747-200 landed quite differently, much less ground effect cushioning and a firm landing was quite possible, especially if you got a couple of knots slow. The 747's were all fun to fly, very responsive and loving of a gentile touch.
747-8 take off trim reset during take off - PMDG Simulations
2020年3月17日 · #8.1 DDowns commented Yesterday, 11:12 In my (poor) recollection, FCTM says similar for -8: Initial rotation to 9 deg then11-14 deg at V2+10 and 35 ft AGL. I actually find the PMDG to require up to 12 deg initial rotation then 15 deg to hold V2+10 and in this flight regime their FD is very sloppy in my opinion. Dan, if you don't mind
747-8 vs 747-400 Landings - PMDG Simulations
2020年11月3日 · One doesn't purchase the PMDG 747 for it's flight dynamics modeling; one purchases the PMDG 747 in spite of it's flight dynamics modeling. The -8 is just weird in regard to landing flare and touchdown rate of decent, and you either learn to live with it or come up with some kind of sim-specific workaround instead of using real-world procedure.
Fuel Imbalance, again... - PMDG Simulations
2019年4月24日 · I know I may be repeating the subject, but each and every time I takeoff with the Freighter 747-8, the fuel imbalance message appears. The procedures followed are standard: the aircraft is fueled by PMDG Ground Operations with the quantity calculated by PFPX or Simbrief.com planners, which I also use for 747-4 and 738 without any problems.
