regarding this PNC Bank issue, I tried on my own today, and I was able to connect my four PNC accounts with "PNC Bank - Direct Connect". I was able to authorize successfully on the web, at last! Perhaps this means they actually have resolved the issue, since I didn't run into any errors, and my PNC balances are correct.

This PNC Bank - Web Connect setup was originally to be used only with the WC connection method (manually downloading and importing transactions from the online account in QFX formated files….also commonly referred to as "Quicken" and "Web Connect" files).

With PNC selecting the correct Add Account connection option is critical. For instance, if one is trying to connect: Virtual Wallet (checking, savings) accounts, make sure to use the PNC - Virtual Wallet connection option. For credit card(s) use the PNC Card Service Online connection option. For Direct Connect use the PNC Bank - Direct Connect ...

As another user reported in the link I posted above, they were told this by Quicken Support: "We have an alert because PNC bank is making some changes on their servers and they are blocking Quicken in the process. This situation was already escalated and we are currently working with PNC Bank to resolve this problem, so please give us some time.

You should contact PNC to confirm this and any/all other bank fees that you might be subject to. Setting up DC for PNC is a little more involved than it is with most other banks. Once the accounts are set up for online banking on PNC's website, you will need to contact them to request the UserID and PW for DC.

Hi again @SJ Moving For PNC you will be able to go back two years. You should login to the PNC website and go to "My Accounts" > "Account Activity". Then, in the "Posted Transactions" section, change the "Last 90 days" button to "Custom Date Range " and change the "From" field to "01/01/2021".

I have two PNC checking accounts. One is Direct Connect and the other is Web Connect. The Direct works better and faster than Web on my slow satellite connection. I don't see an option to change the Web connect to Direct connect. Is there a way?

And Bank Bill Pay is 100% free for as many bills as you want to pay each month (unless you have a business account for which I think the monthly fee charged by PNC is $2.50) whereas Quicken Bill Manager does have a monthly quantity limit.

2025年2月1日 · In my main data file I have PNC set up with Direct Connect (DC) which for the most part has been very reliable and trouble-free….at least for me. If you are missing a lot of transactions, then you might want to log into your online PNC account and manually download the transactions in the Quicken (qfx) format file.
