The 8000 class were two 3-car trainsets acquired by PNR from PT. INKA in 2018, they were delivered and entered service in late 2019. 8001 was last seen in revenue service on December 5. 8001 returned in revenue service on November 27. PNR decorated Trainset 8001 as a Christmas train in December 2022.
