Is it possible to un-stick a poa valve? - Team Chevelle
2004年10月2日 · There is a retrofit kit that eliminates the POA valve and replaces it with a sensor that mounts in the evaporator and cycles the compressor. I think Year One (Yearone.com) sells them. They might also be available through Old Air products.
1970 Bad POA or Expansion Valve - Team Chevelle
2010年9月3日 · The temp at the suction line is luke warm, about the same as at the exit from the POA valve. Little warm to the touch, but I can keep my hand on it. The line coming out of the compressor is very hot. Cannot keep my hand on the line or the muffler. The expansion valve is a Delco second generation. Has been on the car 16 years,as is the POA valve.
A/C POA valve questions - Team Chevelle
2001年6月10日 · I am in the process of converting my 70 Chevelle factory A/C system from R12 to R134a. POA Valve Diagnosis - Team Chevelle
2002年7月28日 · When running, the receiver/dryer ices up, as does the POA valve, but the outlet of the evaporator (where the capillary bulb from the expansion valve clamps to) stays at ambient temp. The expansion valve itself ices up. When running at 1500rpm, ambient temp of 75F, system pressures are: Hi side - 75psi Low side - 5 in/Hg vacuum POA pressure - 10psi
POA valve & Suction Valve - Team Chevelle
1999年12月25日 · The exhaust valve is shown in my (reprinted) Factory Assembly Instruction Manual, but it doesn't identify the exhaust valve. Prior to disassembling the system, the POA valve and aluminum tubes would ice up. POA Valve - Team Chevelle
2002年8月15日 · The expansion valve is the dividing line between high and low pressure of the system. Even if the expansion valve and POA were stuck open the low side should not be that high unless the compressor is not able to do it's job.
POA Valve Testing - Team Chevelle
2018年3月26日 · To test my POA, I hooked up my blue hose (low side) to the valve on my POA. My TXV line, and oil drip line were still connected. My return line to the Compressor was not so air can make its way out of the POA valve. I added 60lbs of compressed air to the port before the TXV on the lower part of the evaporator core. My gauge reads 0.

2006年6月29日 · the link above to Old Air Products only yields a bypass system that eliminates the POA valve. we were told that NOS poa valves are no good becuase the internal rubber parts have deteriorated due to exposure to room air. we have installed that and we are getting too much freon thru the "center tap" on the evaporator since the POA is no longer ...
