Anyone compared Line 6's POD XT vs X3 with the same patches …
2015年5月15日 · MKB, I've always found the same thing in the cleans on the XT and X3 era PODs (not sure on the later stuff). For modulated/delay cleans (texture type sounds) they sound good and actually GREAT (my favorite use for PODs), but bluesy punchy cleans (think Hendrix, SRV, Knopfler, etc), I can't seem to find the responsiven
xt live patches - The Gear Page
2010年2月16日 · I am looking for some POD XT Live patches for live use straight to the board. I have downloaded a bunch of them from the web site but they all seem to get lost in the mix. Does any one have or know where I can get some good patches that cut good in a band setting. Looking for rock/hard rock...
Recording with POD XT- any tips/tricks? - The Gear Page
2005年5月17日 · I run my POD XT into my Aardvark Q10, and haven't had any problems at all. I just do what the manual says to do....using the 1/4 inch outs, turn up the master output volume to 4 oclock, and trim the input gain on the computers software so that it doesn't clip, and wah-la. It definitely sounds better than the old POD.
The best sounding line 6 POD... - The Gear Page
2023年1月17日 · Pod 2 because you literally were so constrained that you had to tweak until you were happy. Was simple and sounded good. Feel not so much, but recorded tone was great. Times have changed, but for twist and go action - pod 2. The original pod was a marvel, the xt and x3 had ok tones too in some ways.
what to do with my pod xt live... - The Gear Page
2009年5月13日 · I switched to a tube amp and pedals (listed in signature) a while back. Before that I had only been using a Pod XT Live. I only play at my church, and for a while we had to use modelers, but when things opened up for me to use a real amp I jumped on it! I always liked the tone of my pod, but spent just as much time being frustrated over tone.
Line 6 HD500 vs PODXT Live - The Gear Page
2014年2月7日 · This is a good question. I have pocket pod , xt, xt live, x3, and hd. In my opinion the hd is superior in terms of feel and response when you play, however not necessarily in terms of recorded sound. I have blind tested another musician with the same song using xt/x3 tones, hd tones and gt-100 tones and that person clearly preferred xt/x3.
Line 6......POD HD-500X, POD XT LIVE...... any users?
2024年9月26日 · Go for pod hd 500X. It has better switches than pod hd 500 or xtlive, better effects, and higher definition of amps. It has decent compressors, and decent effects, but basic reverbs ( only 2 are bit of effected for ambient) , plenty drives and distortions, few fuzzes, some ok filters, overall a great meat with potatoes devise.
Pod2.0 vs PodXT vs PodX3 - The Gear Page
2014年1月7日 · The only I don't have not is the XT, which I wound up giving away. Having all three I can tell you that the XT was the worst of the bunch. The only thing worst that that were the HD units. To cold and sterile IMHO, but some people like them. Pod 2.0 has some sweet tones that no modeler in the $500 and under range can deliver.
Pod XT vs HD500--Lower gain tones - The Gear Page
2016年2月5日 · The POD HD series excels at this, and as a result makes it remarkably easier to get the clean-to-crunch thing right (or at least a lot better). Another big difference for me personally is that on the HD500 and HD500x, you can stack compressors in parallel.
So I picked up a Pod XT Live for $15... - The Gear Page
2022年12月15日 · IMHO the best overall amp tones of the pre-HD Line 6 products are in the XT. I gigged awhile with a XT Live, and still have a XT Pod and XT Pro. The tones are so good that there are model packs for the HD that emulate XT tones. Maybe the biggest downside of the XT is the low number of effects.
