The only thing the REPER has on the POF is that you can turn the piston system off and has a side charging handle oh and you can put on rails any way you want. The POF on the other hand has a fluted barrel, better grip, NP3 coating, triple port muzzle break (works very well),and easier to use ambi bolt release.

I have seen these rifles in action in the Helmand province on numerous trips picking up wounded Brits for casevac. They can handle sustained fire to help point out the pricks for helo gunners like me can make easier positive identification.

2020年5月23日 · POF's big selling point is pistons with their own proprietary designs, LWRC's selling point is mil-spec weapon systems with an piston adaptation (similar, but not the same thing). Both are piston rifles, so neither are really mil-spec in that aspect.

2022年11月6日 · Recently I’ve been interested in buying a piston driven AR15/AR variant. I’ve been looking at guns from sig, lwrc, HK, and now POF. I’ve seen some stuff about just about all of them but I’m having some trouble deciding which is best. I know a couple of those companies have military contacts where as others do not.

2017年5月18日 · Here are the quick facts on the Revolution from POF-USA. Maintenance: Remove gas plug to clean gas block and piston system without removing handguard. No tools required. Standard receiver/carrier group field strip procedures. The POF-USA Renegade came in a nice enough plastic hard case.

2013年12月11日 · LWRC builds a great product but the REPR is super pricy. If you have REPR money I would look at GAP10 as they are a proven performer. I would also consider a different caliber if a lot of 1000 yard shooting is your goal. 6mm Creedmoore for instance.

2013年8月31日 · My vote is for POF, obviously. What you get with the LWRC price increase is it comes with a Geissele trigger and a Magpul PRS. The bone-stock POF is $2600 so once you add the Magpul PRS and a Geissele trigger you're looking at $3,000, give or take. I prefer the POF gas-trap piston system over the LWRC which uses springs.
