2017年5月10日 · The PPG k36 primer uses the PPG K201 hardener for use as a high-build primer coating. In addition to be used as a primer it can be used as a "sealer" by either using the ppg hardener DCX61 or a DCX8 hardener in lieu of the k201 hardener when using the k36 and the clear DCU2021 to form it as being a sealer.

2016年10月17日 · not sure how long concept will be around. it was ppg's top line performance paint. it was their first high solids euro finish. the concept clears were outstanding. imo nothing has come close in years . ppg has expanded into water base and their vibrant line of colors.

2015年6月17日 · Have the mix formula for Indian Ivory (1955 GM code 593) in Ditzler/PPG, but can't find the formula for Harvest Gold (1955 GM code 630). The Ditzler/PPG code 80739 is what I need the formula for (the Ditzler/PPG code 82171 is NOT correct). This is the pale yellow for 1955 only. Paint stores can't seem to find it in their mix books.

I tried putting in a couple codes and they popped right up with current codes for Dupont which can easily be crossed at paintref.com Here is an example "gypsy red" Color Codes - Cross-Reference And something a little fun, when you look next to the paint chip you will see a "B" and "C" which lead you to sales brochures and paint chip charts for 1955.

2016年7月7日 · I have always used PPG- maybe not the best or most popular, but have had good results. I always use PPG DP epoxy primer on bare metal, and/or over body filler. Then, I have used K-38 high build primer, sand then have used DP again as a sealer prior to color. Color, then PPG clear. Just not liking the PPG costs anymore.
