I've scoured the internet and the general consensus is there's 13 (of which there can only be 10) foreign parts on a pps43 that can be changed to US parts to make it compliant. Here's the problem...

Three pistols made it; Kahr CM-9, Taurus 709 SLIM, and Walther PPS. In the end, the Taurus 709 SLIM, Walther PPS and Glock 43 all made the grade to 1,050 rounds fired.
