The PRPP Assessment is a standardised, client centred, criterion referenced, ecological occupational therapy assessment of occupational performance. It is used with clients of any age, gender, diagnosis, or cultural background whose performance is compromised by difficulties with the cognitive demands presented by occupations and contexts.

The PRPP Assessment (PRPP-A) has two stages: Stage 1 – Performance Mastery (PM): contributes to goal formation, identifies strengths and shapes the focus of error correction; Stage 2 – Cognitive Strategy Use (CSU): identifies the specific cognitive strategies and processing operations to address in building performance mastery.
