The current disposition of Pennsylvania RR Alco RS-3 #8479, once part of the "Standard Railroad of the World"; sadly now amongst the weeds on an abandoned siding near the Philadelphia Inquirer building in Swedesland, PA.

The 8479 was purchased for it's trucks to swap with the FA-2. Some attempts were made many years ago to have it saved but no one was interested in the unit so it now sits isolated from the rail network.
