SW9. The SW9 was the successor to the SW7 model, and was purchased by both PRR and NYC. NYC's were numbered 8911-9001 and kept their NYC numbers, while PRRs were numbered in groups throughout the 9000's and 9100's.

2 back-to-back SW9s, starts with 2 gons, 2 tanks, a box-tank-box threesome, ends with 2 gons, and as the RR god meant it to be, a caboose. I'm not sure how the big box of "all" fits in. This 1200 hp EMD switcher was built in 1952 and still looks sharp 4 years later when caught by Joseph McCormack as it sits in the Gardenville (Buffalo, NY) yard.

PRR in Richmond, IN in August 1967 -- Rick Burn - Trainorders.com
Rick took slides of the Pennsy in Richmond, IN in August 1967. Unfortunately the slides incurred water damage in a basement flood. I was able to save these 5 and make them presentable. 1. PRR ALCo C-425s 2418 and 2417. 2. No, Rick was not photographing another steam fan trip. This is just PRR GP9 7039 doing its thing. 3. PRR GP30 2247 and GP9 7238.
