2022年8月2日 · My PS5 seems to be badly overheating, to the point that i lose a "signal". I looked in the back, and my Console is extremely hot, especially near the HDMI Ports. I have tried changing HDMI Cables and it helps, but only for a few hours. I also tried cleaning out the system, with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2022年3月22日 · Yeah, it basically extracts the audio from the HDMI signal. As for 3D audio, not sure, it depends on what sound quality you send via HDMI I guess, that just gets extracted and converted. So the PS5 isn't really aware it is going to headphones, so guessing it won't do the 3d audio magic for it, but I really don't know how that works.

2020年11月20日 · The "good news" is if you have an HDMI 2.1 reciever that has the hardware bug the PS5 still displays properly. This isn't a huge deal, but it's annoying and will marginally impact picture quality due to 4:2:2. The HDR wrapper for SD content is a bigger issue

2020年11月21日 · Due to HDMI bandwidth limitations, the PS5 switches even the UI to YUV422 HDR instead of RGB HDR. The 4K 120Hz setting is gone, replaced by a max 4K 60Hz. It seems that HDR content renders in either YUV422 or even YUV420 to save bandwidth, while non-HDR content is YUV422 exclusively.
