The OEM HP PSU's make a great 12v source. They have decent amperage and built quality. They can be used on a regular ATX/MATX motherboard with the help of a PicoPSU. Just use the HP PSU as the 12v input on the Pico. The HP PSU PWR_ID wire reads 8.9v when disconnected from motherboard & 1,.9 when connected.

Feb 19, 2024 · Hello, I wish to upgrade the PSU of my ProDesk 600 G6 Microtower PC (Product No. 32X93ES#ABT MTi5-105008GB/512PC). The current PSU is 260W and according to the specifications I should be able to upgrade to 550W (450W or higher would be fine too). However, I was not able to find a compatible PSU. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mar 20, 2024 · I calculate total power draw for the components to be (RX 6600 XT) 160 W + (5600G) 65 W + (hp motherboard) 35W + (RAM) 12W + (fans and SSD) 10 W = 282 W. So the 350 W, with a peak power output of 385 W is fine right?
