Mar 12, 2021 · It's almost a 1:1 scale of PT and the best out there. It's just a shame that the creator tried to charge for something that technically isn't his work to begin with. Thank you to everyone out there that has preserved it and made it available so everyone can play this absolute gem of a horror.

Jul 9, 2021 · Thanks to this thread I've finally played PT (Emulation) after all these years. It was fun! There were a couple things that I'd seen in playthroughs of the original that I didn't see here; one was the talking paper bag, and the other is what I think is a random event where Lisa walks by outside the window (so maybe it's in there but I didn't randomly trigger it).

May 5, 2022 · Legal way: Buy an account with a PT license, then force your PS4 to download it using the proxy method. Or play one of the remakes on PC. Legally grey way: Buy a jailbreakable PS4, then look for the PKG and install it.

It seems the two major remakes are Unreal PT and PT Emulation, so I'll ask, which is the better, more accurate version?

Oct 18, 2022 · I came across PT Emulation 1.4 and had to try it on Steam Deck. It worked overall very well, except in the loading settings the trackpad doesn't work and I had to use touchscreen taps to change settings and hit back to load. In the game it worked well with the game pad.

Jan 7, 2024 · But if you download the "PT Emulation 1.4" that is almost an exact replica of the PS4 version minus some small differences, I can confirm it works in VR using the new UEVR injector. Leave all the files intact (including the Oculus and OpenVR folders), but just setup your Steam Launch Option as "-nohmd" and then it hooks like a charm.

Oct 13, 2022 · I’ve just downloaded both Emulation PT 1.4 and Unreal PT 1.0.7. I added then to Steam as non-Steam games and set them to use Proton 7.0.4. Both launched and ran fine and they work with the controls in Game Mode. Not played much, will play them properly this evening.
