They are claiming it was made for PTR by SSD based off of receiver engraving. I wasnt aware that PTR made or imported anything that wasnt an HK clone. Looks like a brand new STG-44-its even chambered in 8mm Kurtz.

In general, my PTR-44 runs fine with factory new Hornady 8x33 Kurz ammo. No stove pipes, no FTF. The problem I observed started out with sort of an FTE, caused by shell case separation right below the shoulder.

2018年7月11日 · Posing this question based on recent malfunctions I’ve had with my PTR-44, where the hammer spring tails first slipped off the notches on the disconnector after about 10 rounds, preventing the sear from releasing the hammer. After reseating them, I was able to fire a few more rounds before another failure to fire (slack trigger).
