For now I'm just planning on using it for larping and passive aiming with my NV capable optics. The PVS-7 is actually pretty good. I use it all the time for walking or driving. I got mine brand new and an auto gated tube for only $1600 for what it’s worth.

2019年12月19日 · Hence, there was night vision. I'd love to have a PVS-14, but budget is very limited. Question is, if I can scrounge up a used PVS-7 will it still be pretty darn effective, all things considered? I've looked through PVS-14's, both Gen 3 green and white phosphor. I have financially cushy friends. I've never looked through a set of PVS-7's though.

2020年9月19日 · I had this problem with a PVS-7. Replacing battery cap fixed the issue. The contacts on the cap had gotten corroded. You may have a different problem but just thought i would share my experience.

2008年6月29日 · These were later eliminated, and the newer tubes are cross compatible for all PVS-7 goggles. Current tubes are either the MX-10130C, MX-10130D or the MX-10130E, the latter being the Pinnacle autogated version of the tube fielded in 2002.

2015年8月3日 · Also, that particular mount type uses what's called a "dovetail" interface, which is not compatible with the model of PVS-7 pictured, making it even odder. Anyways, again, sorry for going off topic, just a little something I noticed, it has no bearing on your questions.
