2013年5月17日 · Paceship made a fixed keel 23' that is a good boat but the PY 23 is a keel/centerboard and pretty slow. That said they were well built and very good looking - just more of a motor sailor than sailboat from what I have seen.

We sailed that boat all over the place from way down-east Maine to the forks of Long Island, as well as on Lake Sunapee, Lake George, Lake Winnepesaukee... The big trip was an offshore voyage across the Gulf of Maine from Saco, Maine, to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, and back to Bar Harbor.

2013年5月18日 · About 900 PY23's were built between 1973 and 1981. They were available as keel/centerboard or fixed keel versions. The 73 and 74 models were built in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia and the 75 to 81 models were built by AMF in CT. The early, Canadian-built boats had wooden toerails, gold-colored anodized spars, and no anchor well built into the foredeck.
