2006年8月10日 · I have a white padlock (which keeps opening and closing) in the middle of my screen. It is on a square blue background edged in white 3.5cm by 3.5cm. I can't click on it or move it and I have run all my virus and spyware programs to try and remove it. Can anyone shed any light on what it is and how to get rid of it.

2010年5月9日 · Many monitors have an on-screen display lock (the padlock icon) that seems to get stuck. Various suggestions in the links below - the one that seems to work most often is to hold the monitor's menu button down for 15-20 seconds to get the screen menu, then either try unlocking the OSD (On Screen Display) or do a factory reset on the monitor.

2017年9月12日 · I had this intermittent problem with a flashing padlock icon, and the On Screen Menu would on occasion pop up as well. I understand the lock/unlock options on the monitor buttons, but since I wasn't pressing a button, and it would randomly flash, this couldn't be the problem. It was acting like I was pressing a button.

2010年3月8日 · I've had the u2711 monitor up for a few days. Somehow today I managed to lock the front panel controls (a little padlock appears when I press the one just above the power button). The user manual (such as it is) says there's also anOnScreenDisplay menu but I don't see how to get to it (I certainly don't see the icon the manual says to touch).

2005年11月4日 · I think I do and there isn't. It started out like a week ago. When it started it was an icon that showed the vertical and horizontal settings. Now it is just a padlock that locks and unlocks. I have talked to a few people and nobody seems to know what is causing it.

2009年12月20日 · Yesterday, my Dell 2350 LCD monitor suddenly displayed a large flashing animated padlock icon that goes from locked to unlocked. And it always sits in the center of screen. It is very annoying. My LCD is still working with a good display as usual.
