A keyhole saw (also called a pad saw, alligator saw, jab saw or drywall saw) is a long, narrow saw used for cutting small, often awkward features in various building materials. There are typically two varieties of keyhole saw: the fixed blade type and the retractable blade type.

Pad Saws and Keyhole Saws are used for cutting curved lines in a piece of timber, in particular for cutting a curved line in a more central position away from an edge. To do this, a hole is first drilled to allow the pad saw / keyhole saw blade clearance to go through the wood to begin its cut.

The Dual Blade Padsaw is designed for sawing in confined places and is ideal for cutting out keyholes, letters and much more.
