2020年12月6日 · I would apply the Close Combatant feature only to pistol-style weapons. It reinforces their niche and encourages those who favor longarms to carry a backup piece. I'm also of the opinion that Reloading should not be a bonus action- it's an object interaction, and you can do one of those for free every round.

Choose the regular pistol. If you have anything useful at all do with your bonus actions, it's better to have to reload after 4 shots than use both your action and bonus action every turn. With the palm pistol, you would essentially be trading 5 bonus actions to make a single attack. And you don't get the attack until round 5.

My understanding is that as an action, they fire their (custom 1 handed) blunderbuss and their palm pistol, then use the above feat for a bonus action shot

Obviously I can imagine that a better knife cut meat better than a blunt blade, but what in terms of positioning, clocks or advantages? All items in Blades are pieces of fiction. It's very unusual for Blades items to have specific rules. A gun does what a gun does.
